Skyrim good intentions where is tolfdir

I just waited closely infront of them for about 10 minutes and nothing happened. Their mouths don't even move. I think I have a dialogue bug which is messing with a lot of my quests.. Posted June 24, - PM. Everytime I conjure an atronach and kill it they move away and then come back. But still no talking or quest progression. Finally fixed it by getting suspended from the College and getting the quest "Rejoining the College".

I talked to Tolfdir to pay my fine to get back in the college. As soon as I exited that dialogue Ancano said I needed to follow him and I got the next quest task. David likes this. It's great that you fixed it! I'm sure that will help a lot of people who have the same problem. Fixing it by getting suspended and going through the Rejoining process was a fantastic idea.

Not long into Tolfdir 's speech , Ancano arrives and says he must take you away post-haste to speak to a monk from the Psijic order that has arrived and is asking for you. Follow Ancano up to the arch-mage chambers and speak to Quaranir , the monk. Quaranir explains that the orb is dangerous and is up to you to do something about it, which starts with you finding the Augur of Dunlain somewhere in the college.

He then says he must take his leave, but Ancano intercepts him and takes him off somewhere. Find Tolfdir and ask him about the Augur of Dunlain. He will tell you he supposes the Augur is still in The Midden , an area underneath the college. Head outside and look for a small trap door in the covered section of the courtyard.

Head down the hatch into The Midden.
